Report Showcases Conservative Thinking on Poverty and Opportunity
A new report from the American Enterprise Institute and Opportunity America presents a range of conservative proposals to address poverty in the United States, arguing that the issue of inequality and economic mobility is “more pressing than ever.” This Way Up: New Thinking About Poverty and Economic Mobility includes proposals on safety net reform, wage subsidies, workforce training, school voucher programs, and other topics from a wide variety of conservative thinkers, including House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI).
