September 16 – Demanding Dignity at Work: A Book Talk with Steven Greenhouse
The Aspen Institute will host a book talk on Beaten Down, Worked Up – The Past, Present, and Future of American Labor by New York Times reporter Steven Greenhouse. The discussion will focus on how working people organized to address the challenges of their time, how the gains they achieved have begun to erode, and how working people today are finding their voice again. Books will be made available for sale and signing at the event. The event will be held in Washington, DC from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. ET.
