Racial and Economic Disparities Persist on National Test Scores
The most recent results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress – commonly known as the Nation’s Report Card – show little progress among American students on math and reading, and persistent achievement gaps between low-income students and their peers. Poor students tended to score in the lowest 20th percentile range, according to the results.
