New Poverty Report Accompanies Launch of National Campaign
The anti-poverty effort known as the Poor People’s Campaign launched a 40-day multi-state action this week protesting economic disparities in the United States, along with a report on the structural issues that perpetuate poverty in the country. The Souls of Poor Folk argues that the U.S. has the resources to ensure “dignified lives for all its people.”
