June 14 Forum – Millennials and the ‘Success Sequence’: How do Education, Work, and Marriage Affect Poverty and Financial Success among Millennials?

Posted on

Researchers and policymakers have identified a sequence of major life events – completing high school, getting a job, getting married, and having children, in that order – that make it more likely that American adults will succeed economically. But does the so-called “success sequence” apply to the Millennial generation? The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) will host a forum with speakers including Wendy Wang and W. Bradford Wilcox, researchers at the Institute for Family Studies; Annie Lowrey, contributing editor at The Atlantic; and Ian Rowe, CEO of the Public Prep Network. The event will be held at AEI in Washington, D.C., from 9-11:30 a.m. EDT. Click here to register.
