July 18 Forum – Are Kids Getting Shortchanged in the Federal Budget?
The Urban Institute will release its 12th annual Kids Share report, which tracks federal spending on programs that affect children, and host a panel discussion on federal investments in the health and education of American kids. Speakers include Karen Howard, vice president of early childhood policy at First Focus, and Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
