Hunger Widespread on College Campuses

A first-of-its-kind survey released this week by researchers at Temple University and the Wisconsin HOPE Lab finds that more than one in three college students do not get enough to eat, and a similar number lack secure housing. The authors of the survey, which includes responses from more than 43,000 students at 66 schools, argue that too many institutions are unwilling to admit they have a problem with hunger.
