“As a District resident who typically uses the metro rail system to travel to and from work (as I don’t own a car or a bike), I share my fellow commuters’ irritation. But even so, my frustration is tempered by the fact that, regardless of the inconvenience, I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where I’ll encounter few — if any — damaging consequences. I’ll work from home or take a taxi. Big deal.”
