“The Greater Cleveland Partnership is teaming up with NASA’s Glenn Research Center to tackle digital inequality in a way only a space agency could: by using the Moon.

Researchers at NASA’s Compass Lab at Glenn used “lunar network approaches” to address the technical problems with Wi-Fi connectivity and availability on earth, according to a recent press release.

Marty McGann, executive vice president of advocacy and strategy for the GCP said that researchers are applying the same approach that helps astronauts get broadband access on the moon said in the news release.”
