April 4 Forum — Shaping the Conversation: What New Data Show about Americans’ Attitudes toward and Experiences with Paid Family Leave

The issue of paid family and medical leave has earned bipartisan attention and support in recent years. Two new surveys from the nonpartisan Pew Research Center provide insight into Americans’ views of and experiences with family and medical leave. The American Enterprise Institute will host a presentation of the new data followed by a panel discussion. Speakers include Harry Holzer, professor at Georgetown University; Richard Reeves, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution; Sabrina Schaeffer, executive director of the Independent Women’s Forum; and Brigid Schulte, director of the Good Life initiative at New America.
