June 24 Forum – Universal Family Care: Policy Options for Families in the 21st Century

The National Academy of Social Insurance and Caring Across Generations will host a discussion on Universal Family Care, which would pool the costs of childcare, paid family leave and long-term care. Speakers will include representatives from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, the Ford Foundation, AARP, the Washington Center for Equitable Growth and more. The National Academy of Social Insurance will release a report examining different policy options that states can implement under the umbrella of Universal Family Care. The event will be held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., from 1-4 p.m. ET. Click here to register.
