October 25-27 Conference – A Nation That Works: What’s It Going To Take?

The Heartland Alliance’s National Initiatives on Poverty & Economic Opportunity will hold its national conference focused on strategies to end chronic unemployment and poverty in the United States. Speakers include Evelyn Diaz, president of Heartland Alliance; Leon Andrews, director for Race, Equity and Leadership at the National League of Cities; Indivar Dutta-Gupta, senior fellow at the Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality; and Roberta Meyers, director of the National H.I.R.E.
