October 11 Forum – The Upside of Inequality: A Discussion about Whether Good Intentions Undermine the Middle Class

In his new book, The Upside of Inequality, Edward Conard argues that fighting income inequality is counterproductive, and that encouraging people to take risks for high rewards spurs economic growth. The American Enterprise Institute will host a discussion between Conard and Steven V. Roberts, professor of media and public affairs at George Washington University, about the relationship between the success of high earners and opportunities for middle- and working-class people. The event will be held at AEI in Washington, D.C., from 12:30-1:30 p.m. EDT. Click here to register.
