A new report from EdBuild finds that on average, school districts with a high concentration of white students receive thousands more dollars in per-student funding than districts with mostly non-white students. The researchers say that collectively, this means that “nonwhite school districts receive $23 billion less than white districts, despite serving the same number of students.”
