January 13 Forum – Fixing Health Care: Practical Lessons from Business Leaders
More than half of all Americans receive health insurance through employer-sponsored plans, which may become even more widely used if Republicans in Congress follow through on their proposals to repeal the Affordable Care Act. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI), Brookings Institution, and Pacific Business Group on Health will host a discussion among business owners and policy experts on the future of employer health innovations. Speakers include Rep. Michael Burgess (R-TX); Elli Dai, head of corporate benefits at Wells Fargo; Sally Welborn, senior vice president of benefits at Walmart; and Karen Fisher, chief public policy counsel at the American Association of Medical Colleges. The event will be held at AEI in Washington, D.C., from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. EST. Click here to register.
