December 13 Forum – The Future of Applying Behavioral Science to Improve Social Policy

Behavioral science research has produced a wealth of information on the impact of poverty on children, family structure, and a variety of other issues. MDRC and the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) will host a forum to discuss the future of behavioral science research and its impact on public policy. Speakers include Ron Haskins, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution; Maya Shankar, senior advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy; and Emily Schmitt, research analyst at the Administration for Children & Families.
