Paid family leave is on the legislative agenda across the country, with New York, California, New Jersey, Minnesota, and Rhode Island among the states considering bills to establish a family leave program. The Center for Law & Social Policy will host a webinar featuring Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) to discuss state and federal progress on family leave legislation. Other speakers include Donna Dolan, executive director of the New York Paid Leave Coalition; Dan Teran, CEO of Managed by Q; and Joanna Blotner, coordinator of the D.C. Paid Family Leave Coalition.
