Cincinnati.com, December 17, 2016: (Opinion) Low-income residents need transportation options
“Getting low-income residents to work, job training and job interviews in Cincinnati until they are self-sufficient is becoming more difficult. Everybody Rides Metro (ERM) has been helping about 100 local social service agencies by providing subsidized bus rides for their clients since 2008. But the elimination of the Federal Transportation Administration’s Job Access and Reverse Commute Program has cut off ERM’s funding, and ERM will no longer be a source of subsidized rides.”
