Bill to Recruit Teachers for Low Income Students in Delaware

“Delaware officials have proposed legislation aimed at recruiting teachers to work in schools with high concentrations of low-income students, English language learners and students with disabilities. The bill proposed by Gov. John Carney, state Rep. David Bentz and Sen. Bryan Townsend would provide up to $2,000 of student loan assistance annually to teachers who qualify. Educators may qualify for up to five years of assistance.”
