Politico Piece on Disability Policy by Spotlight Team Member

Spotlight۪s own Sam Gill has a powerful piece on the challenge, and new opportunity, for improved disability policy. The opinion article, which ran last week in Politico, suggests smart ways for the Obama Administration to further policies to help disabled people work more and achieve their goals. We hear it۪s only just a start for Gill, who draws on his own experiences with an older brother who has disabilities, and who plans policy papers on the topic. His piece also spurred Spotlight to move forward with plans for a new section devoted to the important issue of disabilities and poverty.
