May 25 Forum – From War to Work: Saving Veterans from the Disability Trap
Upon return to civilian life, many American veterans have difficulty finding long-term work due to mental health issues or dependence on disability compensation. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) will host a discussion on how to help veterans transition from active duty to the workforce. Speakers include Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO); Morgan Luttrell, former Navy SEAL and research assistant at the Center for Brain Health; and Thomas Meyer, director of veterans services at the Philanthropy Roundtable.
