Following the 2016 election, David and Amber Lapp, researchers at the Institute for Family Studies, conducted a focus group of working-class families in Ohio to gauge their perspectives on issues such as paid leave and safety net programs. The American Enterprise Institute will host a presentation of their findings and a discussion on how best to help working-class families. Speakers include Ramesh Ponnuru, senior editor at National Review; and Richard Reeves, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.
