The ‘War on Poverty’ Isn’t Over, and Kids Are Losing

Some 44 percent of the people who receive food stamps through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are children, for example. Cutting spending on poverty means cutting spending on kids—a downward trend that is already happening.”
