State gives $5.6 million grant to Santa Fe Springs for homeless project
“The state is giving the City of Santa Fe Springs a $5.6 million grant that will provide enough money to fully fund The Whole Child’s 19-apartment project that will house up to 40 formerly homeless families at one time.
The interim transitional housing and services facility will be part of a 140-unit project that also will include low-cost rental and for-sale housing. The project is expected to break ground in June 2022.”
