September 25 Briefing – Expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit
Tax Credits for Workers and Their Families (TCWF) will host a Capitol Hill briefing on possible expansions to the Earned Income Tax Credit, including a wider age range and expanded eligibility for childless workers. Indivar Dutta-Gupta, co-executive director of the Georgetown Center on Poverty and Inequality, will moderate a panel including Jill Hunter-Williams, legislative director for Congressman Danny Davis (D-IL); Elaine Maag, senior research associate at the Urban Institute; Robin McKinney, co-founder and CEO of the CASH Campaign of Maryland; and Cynthia Miller, senior fellow at MDRC.
