September 23-24 – National Tribal Broadband Summit: Expanding Opportunity, Access, and Connectivity to Indian Country
As part of an effort to close the digital divide in Indian Country, the Department of the Interior, in collaboration with the Department of Education and the Institute of Museum and Library Services, will hold a 2-day summit to connect tribal leaders with private sector and federal decisionmakers to explore ways to expand broadband capacity and to help close the connectivity gap in American Indian and Alaska Native communities, schools, and libraries. The event will be held in Washington, DC.
