September 12 – Poverty Day 2017
Each year, the U.S. Census Bureau releases a comprehensive report on national and state trends in income, poverty, health insurance, and a range of other economic indicators. Spotlight will summarize the data, track media coverage and expert analysis, and update our 50-state interactive data map with the new statistics. This year, the Current Population Survey – the national overview statistics for 2016 – will be released on Tuesday, September 12. The American Community Survey, including breakdowns by demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics, will be released on Thursday, September 14. Click here for more information.
