“One-third of San Diego County’s working-age households don’t earn enough money to make ends meet, according to a report issued Tuesday by the Center on Policy Initiatives.

‘This means that over a million people in San Diego are living in economic insecurity, are living on the edge, and are worried about their next meal,’ said Peter Brownell, research director for the institute, a nonprofit economic and social justice analysis and advocacy group.”
