Preschoolers with Disabilities Receive Overly Harsh Discipline

Posted on

Children ages 3 to 5 with disabilities or emotional and behavioral challenges are significantly more likely to be suspended or expelled from early learning programs, according to a new report from the Center for American Progress. The authors argue that this exclusionary discipline denies crucial early education and services to the children who need them most.
