Organizations asking the city for help towards more in-person outreach at homeless camps

“This is why Robinson and Frizzell would like to see a greater shift back towards face to face interaction at homeless camps.

‘You cannot be afraid of the people you serve or the circumstance you live in. You have to build relationships where they are at the point of pain and help them move to what they hope for,’ Frizzell emphasized.

The city has prioritized funding for initiatives to build a new 90-unit building that will open in May and to provide monthly vouchers to connect clients with permanent housing options.”
