Ohio awarded more than $126 million to help state’s homeless

Posted on

“U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown announced Wednesday that the more than $126 million is coming from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Continuum of Care Program.

‘For too many Ohioans of all ages, housing is too expensive and too hard to find, and is a barrier to health and opportunity. These funds will help provide critical housing and services for Ohioans experiencing homelessness,” Brown said in a statement. “I will continue working to ensure that all Ohioans can find a safe, stable home they can afford.'”
