November 7 Forum – What Will the 2018 Midterm Elections Mean for Education?

A new Congress and dozens of governors, as well as a number of state referenda and initiatives, will have significant impacts on K-12 and higher education policy across the country. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) will host a discussion on the education implications of the election. Speakers include Lanae Erickson Hatalsky, vice president at Third Way; Frederick Hess, director of education policy studies at AEI; Alyson Klein, assistant editor at Education Week; and Aaliyah Samuel, director of the education division of the National Governors Association.
