New community solar project allows low-income households to soak up the benefits
“A community solar project coming online in southwestern Wisconsin will provide a new opportunity for low-income households to tap into the benefits of renewable energy. The Bluff Prairie Community Solar Farm, a 1.5 megawatt array on almost nine acres in rural Vernon County, will soon start generating power for Vernon Electric Cooperative, which serves all or parts of Vernon, La Crosse, Monroe, Juneau, Sauk, Richland and Crawford counties.”
