Minimum Wage Increases Have Mixed Impact on Employment
A study of minimum wage increases between 2013 and 2015 finds varied impacts on employment among low-skilled workers. Researchers from the American Enterprise Institute estimate that relatively small minimum wage increases (those not exceeding $1) tended to have small but somewhat positive effects on employment, while large increases tended to reduce employment.
