Metro to offer reduced fares to assist low-income customers
“Starting June 20, Metro will begin offering reduced fares to help low-income customers, as part of the new Metro Lift program. Those who qualify for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) in D.C., Maryland and Virginia are eligible to enroll in the fare assistance program.”
