May 21 Forum – Building the Workforce of the Future: Resilient People and Places

The Center for Universal Education and the Future of the Middle Class Initiative at the Brookings Institution will host a symposium on education and economic development strategies to build a resilient workforce in the face of declining labor force participation rates and economic mobility. Speakers include John Allen, president of Brookings; Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Jim Shelton, senior advisor to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and former deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.
