May 18 — 2017 Moynihan Lecture: The Impact of Non-Traditional Jobs and the Role for Public Policy
Alan Krueger, professor of economics and public policy at Princeton University and former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, will be awarded the 2017 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Prize by the American Academy of Political and Social Science. The prize recognizes leaders who champion the use of informed judgment to advance the public good. Krueger’s work focuses on the growing “gig” economy and how public policy can create support and a safety net for nontraditional workers. Krueger will be introduced by Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA). The event will be held in the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C., from 4-5:30 p.m. EDT. Click here to register.
