May 16 Forum and Webcast – Preparing for the Next Recession: Policies to Reduce the Impact on the U.S. Economy
The Washington Center for Equitable Growth and the Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution will convene a forum on how to reduce the impact of the next recession. Speakers include Ben Bernanke, former chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and distinguished fellow in residence at Brookings; Christina Romer, former chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers and professor of economics at University of California, Berkeley; and Robert Rubin, former treasury secretary.
