May 12 — 2016 Daniel Patrick Moynihan Prize Lecture

The 2016 Moynihan Prize will be awarded to two researchers who have dedicated their careers to advancing strong social policy that bridges partisan divides. Dr. Ron Haskins and Dr. Isabel Sawhill, senior fellows in economic studies at the Brookings Institution, will give remarks on the evolving structure of the American family and how to promote strong families through policymaking. The Moynihan Prize is presented each year by the American Academy of Political and Social Science. The event will be held in the Kennedy Caucus Room in the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C., from 1:30-3 p.m. EDT. Click here to register.
