Low-income students get free tablets and backpacks at Lincoln back-to-school bash

“With summer coming to a quick end, many low-income families still need school supplies. So the Mourning Hope Grief Center hosted a community back-to-school bash on Friday, giving away tablets and backpacks filled with school supplies. ‘We really make a drive out here on our campus to make sure that all families can access services and we can offer something to everyone,’ said Carly Runestad, executive director of Mourning Hope.”
