Low-income families could own a new house for free
“Belton’s home replacement program is a part of a state-wide assistance plan aimed at low-income families living in small cities across the state of Texas. All you have to do is put in the application to the Texas Department of Housing to get the funding. To be eligible for Belton’s Home Program, you must own and occupy a house within Belton city limits. The home must be in poor conditions and have no delinquent property taxes.”
