Kentucky first to win federal approval to roll back Medicaid expansion under Obamacare
“Federal authorities have given Kentucky broad power to reshape its Medicaid program, making it the first state in the nation to win such approval under new rules that will allow states to include work requirements for some people covered by the government health plan. The news was released Friday by U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth, a Louisville Democrat, just minutes before Gov. Matt Bevin, who has sought the changes, was to make a ‘major announcement’ on health care at the state Capitol.”
