June 20 Forum – The Future of Work: New BLS Data and Implications for the 21st Century Labor Market

The Aspen Institute’s Future of Work Initiative will host a briefing on new federal data showing that the number of workers on irregular schedules or in the “gig economy” has held steady since 2005. Speakers include Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA); Senator Todd Young (R-IN); and Mike Horrigan, associate commissioner in the Office of Employment and Unemployment Statistics at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
