Methodology: Conducted by CBS News/New York Times, July 7 – July 14, 2008 and based on 1,796 telephone interviews. Sample: national adult including oversamples of blacks and hispanics. There were totals of 297 blacks and 246 Hispanics interviewed. Results were weighted to be representative of a national adult population. [USCBSNYT.071508.R56]
