In his new book, Dream Hoarders: How the American Upper Middle Class is Leaving Everyone Else in the Dust, Why That is a Problem, and What do Do about It, Richard Reeves argues that the top 20 percent of American earners are consolidating systemic economic advantages and widening the gap between them and the rest of society.
