Immigrants pay more into the healthcare system than they get out of it, study shows

In California, where about a fourth of residents are foreign-born, immigrants and their employers contributed close to $28 billion more than they received from insurers from 2008 to 2014. During the same period, U.S. natives in the state received about $28 billion more from insurers than they contributed.”
