Illinois to become seventh state to allow food stamps at restaurants
“Currently, just six states allow SNAP benefits, colloquially known as food stamps, to be used at restaurants, including Arizona, California, Maryland, Michigan, Rhode Island and Virginia. The Missouri Senate passed legislation Thursday that would allow more than 182,000 households in the state to use SNAP benefits at restaurants.”
