“Homeless advocates are planning a rally on Thursday to call for more emergency shelters for hundreds about to be evicted from winter shelters.
This week Governor Dan McKee launched a statewide ‘Landlord Challenge’ to help find permanent housing for those who will lose temporary housing, but advocates say that is not enough.
As funding for winter shelters is expiring, hundreds will soon have nowhere to sleep.”
