Highest number of Bay Area low-income bikeshare users are in SF
“The majority of low-income cyclists using a hard-fought discount program for bikeshare in the Bay Area are in San Francisco. With more than 2,600 blue bikes available to rent in kiosks across San Francisco, San Jose, Berkeley, Oakland and Emeryville, Ford GoBike has nearly 10,000 annual members, 1,515 of whom use the Bike Share For All program for qualifying low-income residents, according to numbers recently revealed Thursday by Bay Area Motivate LLC, which administers the Ford GoBike program.”
