MI College Receives $449K Kellogg Foundation Job Training Grant to Help Low-Income Residents Earn Living Wage
“The W.K. Kellogg Foundation awarded a two-year, $449,862 grant to Grand Rapids Community College to continue to help train people in need of a post-secondary education to find employment that provides a living wage. […] Ninety-one percent of those participants successfully completed the occupational training and over 80 percent have received employment or retained it, according to GRCC, which is still processing the numbers.”
